More Scam Emails Circulating
There are several different versions of an email circulating using an email address similar to Rev. Dedrick's, requesting assistance with purchasing gift cards.
THESE EMAILS ARE NOT FROM OUR PASTOR! Please do not respond to them and delete them immediately.
Rev. Dedrick -- or any staff member -- would never request that a member of the congregation purchase gift cards and/or send the card information via email so the cards can be accessed. All financial matters are handled in person through the bookkeeper in the church office.
Please remember that email and texts are not secure modes of communication, and you should never send passwords, confidential information, etc., through these methods.
If you have any questions or concerns about any email you receive from Rev. Dedrick and/or staff members, please call the church office to verify the information prior to responding to the email.
