Rev. Tom Cody is our guest preacher this Sunday, October 10. Tom has been a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) since 1964 upon baptism at First Christian Church while a student in Huntsville, Texas. At various churches throughout Texas, Tom was an activie member, holding every office except treasurer. In 1992, Tom moved to Shreveport, and joined Broadmoor Christian Church where he became a licensed minister in 1993. He retired from the City of Shreveport in 2005 and moved to Baton Rouge and First Christian Church, Baton Rouge, as a Licensed Minister until his retirement a second time, in 2019.
