This Sunday at First Christian Church
Rev. David Chisham begins a series examining the Acts of the Apostles he's calling Church on the Move. We hope you will be with us, in person or online, this Sunday, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Sunday Class for Adults
|
|
Dak McInnis begins facilitating the Adult Sunday class for an in-depth discussion of the sermon. The class meets both in person in the church library and via Zoom, immediately following the Sunday morning worship service (about 11:15 a.m.).

OLLI Classes at FCC slowly returning …
|
Did you know First Christian Church hosts various OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, which, through LSU, offers non-credit courses with no assignments or grades to adults over age 50) classes and events at times throughout the year? The popular Coffee Talks, featuring prominent and interesting speakers, returns on Wednesday, May 5 - without the coffee, yet. The Rev. Robin McCullough-Bade, retiring Executive Director of the Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge will be the speaker at the May 5 event.

If you're over 50, and interested in carefully re-entering social programs (LSU requires masks and waivers at all their events), you may want to visit the OLLI website and check out the offerings. From writing classes to tap dancing, there's something for just about everyone, and several will be hosted right here at First Christian Church.
