The Betrayal of Judas, housed at the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, an art museum in Siena, in Tuscany in central Italy. It houses works of art and architectural fragments that were formerly in, or a part of, the Duomo of Sienas. The Wednesday of Holy Week is often referred to as "Spy Wednesday," referencing Judas' pact for thirty pieces of silver.

Join us in following the Stations of the Cross
|
We are reading and praying along in a Spiritual Stations of the Cross this Holy Week. Monday through Thursday, we'll take a few moments at morning, mid-day and evening, then at morning and mid-day on Good Friday, to consider Jesus' route to Calvary. Our Lenten devotional series will conclude on Holy Saturday, April 3.

This Sunday at First Christian Church
We celebrate the Resurrection with our 10:00 worship service - including flowering of the cross -bring flowers from your yard to help decorate - and we'll have goodies for the children. Let us know if your children or grandchildren will be here, if we've not already contacted you!

Sunday Class for Adults
|
Dak McInnis' adult study group will meet this Easter Sunday, immediately following the service, but ONLY in person as our tech group will have taken off on Easter holiday after the service!

The class will NOT meet at all on Sunday, April 11. Enjoy a brief spring break before beginning a new topic following the service on Sunday, April 18!

Easter Week Office Schedule
|
The church office will be open ONLY on Tuesday, April 6, and Wednesday, April 7, of next week, and Rev. Chisham will be off all week on well-deserved vacation. Phone messages and email will be monitored, so if you have an emergency need for pastoral or administrative staff, please leave your message at 225-926-4175, or email the church office, here.
