For those of you who were unable to join us for the Congregational Meeting on May 1st, we wanted to update you.
|
In an overwhelming show of support, the congregation voted in favor of extending the letter of call to Rev. Dr. Dedrick J. Minor to be the part-time Senior Minister for First Christian Church of Baton Rouge (DOC). His official start date as Senior Minister is May 2, 2022. We hope you will join us in celebrating this step in our faith journey as a congregation. As we look towards the future, we believe and trust that God has great things in store for us.
Also, at this time, I would like to thank the members of the Search & Call Committee for all their hard work and prayerful consideration during the past several months: Carol Madere, Chair; Carmen Jones, Dak McInnis, Ed Atkins,
