Consecration Day is Sunday, October 13, 2024.

This year’s theme is Journey to Generosity - the way of Jesus.
|
Our focus for 2025 is community – how can we be effective representatives of Jesus in our community? If Jesus was sitting in our pew and headed up our Outreach program, what would he have us undertaking?
|
Consecration is the act of transforming secular (earthly) things (our talents, ourselves, our financial gifts) into a higher (spiritual) purpose.
|
At First Christian Church, Consecration Day is that day when we ask God to transform our financial estimates of giving to a higher, spiritual endeavor.
|
With the right tools, and the right people, and the right endeavor, how will God transform us/our church to a higher existence?
|
The right tools are our talents, our gifts, and our financial support.
The right people are us.
The right endeavor is our community and how God will lead us to be more than we are.
|
As Dedrick says every Sunday “I can’t wait to see what miracles God will bless us with”.
