Anxiety is a trick the enemy uses to make you think you need to worry. He is always prowling about, scheming, and attempting to distract believers from the truth. The truth is that God is always with you, so there is no reason to fear. In the Bible, we are told not to fear or be afraid as many times as there are days in the year. Yet we don’t heed, we worry.
Do not look toward tomorrow with a furrowed brow and eyes full of worry. God is holding your hand and will pour you the exact measure of strength you need to pass through each trial. I can testify that this is the truth. Take your trials one day at a time, one step at a time, trusting that the Lord will walk with you.
This coronavirus has wreaked havoc not only globally but in our community and our homes. We have been isolated as though we are wandering in the desert. Our church is the oasis in that desert. We have seen the oasis in the distance through our video services, devotions, and evening prayer messages, which have been greatly appreciated. The Word, songs, and prayers are meant to be raised up in community at our oasis. Our family is so looking forward to meeting in our sanctuary again with our friends in faith. Hopefully, we will see you there.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10 NIV
